I would like to learn about VoIP.
Goal:
1. Enable people on a website to communicate by audio.
2. Enable people on a website to make PC-to-PC calls.
3. Enable people on a website to make PC-to-Phone calls.
Questions:
1. Is it possible to do this without using anybody else's services? In other words, can the application be self-contained?
2. Can it be done without using Flash or JAVA?
If you've worked in this area before, share your ideas.
