Lazy oil producing nations

Postby Richard Akindele » Sat Oct 25, 2008 7:30 pm

Isn't it ironic that the nations that rape the ground for its resources, give little back to the world?

Let's take a look at the the top oil producing nations:

* Saudi Arabia
* Russia
* Norway
* Iran
* Venezuela
* United Arab Emirates
* Kuwait
* Angola
* Nigeria
* Mexico
* Algeria

Which one of the listed nations contribute anything significant to the world? The answer is none.
When I say contribute, I mean Technologically, I mean in the area of Human rights, global stability, and so forth.

All these nations simply take the oil money and run.

None of the nations invest in research for technological advancements in the world.

Most of them have horrible Human rights records.

Furthermore, most of the world's problems originate from these countries. Saudi Arabia brewed 911 terrorists. Russia is a major trouble maker both to its neighbors, as well as to the world, as exemplified by its recent attack on a sovereign Georgia.

Do I even need to say anything about Ahmadinajad of Iran, or Chavez of Venezuela?

Most of the word's worst dictators originate from these nations. Putin, Chavez, Ahmadinajad, are all itching for World War III. For those who do not understand what a World War means, that is where everything breaks down, tens of millions lose their lives, and where survivors die of severe hunger.

This is serious matter. The countries that have been blessed the most, are the ones pushing for destruction and mayhem around the world.

How about Nigeria, what exactly do we contribute to the world? With all the free oil money pouring in daily effortlessly, we can't even feed our people, or provide them with the most basic of health care. Do Nigerians live better than Ghanians? Yet, Ghana has never sold a drop of oil. There is something wrong with this picture.

What is more noteworthy is that with the exception of Norway, nobody wants to migrate to these oil producing countries to live.

So, we know what oil producing nations stand for. Now let's look at the largest oil consuming nations:

* United States
* Japan
* China
* Germany
* South Korea
* France
* Italy
* Spain
* India
* Taiwan

The list speaks for itself. Most people wouldn't think twice about migrating to live in these countries.

China manufactures 50 percent of the world's products. Germany, Japan, France are outstanding giants in the area of technology.

The question then is, how is it that the nations that make the most money via oil sales, are not known for giving back to the world?

Of course, one could argue that the money made from oil is invariably funneled back into the global economy via consumerism. However, what is the answer to the fact that these countries do not strive for peace around the world? When there is a natural disaster, the oil producing nations hardly ever contribute anything to help the victims. Why is this?

The United States of America is a nation in a class of its own. Science, technology, human rights, freedom, generosity, are some of the hallmarks of this incredible nation.

While Iran is looking for nuclear weapons to wipe Israel off the map, and Russia is threatening to attack Poland with nuclear weapons, America does not threaten any nation with its nuclear weapons.

The bottom line is, rich oil producing nations are looking to destroy everything that the oil consuming nations build. Although the oil nations have money, they always rely on the oil consumers for their planes, trains, and automobiles. Cutting edge technologies like the Internet, Biotechnology, space research, etc, all come from the oil consuming nations.

Some may argue that America does not stand for peace, since it engages in wars like the Iraq war. However, America only goes to wars after it's been attacked. 911 led to Iraq.

The question again is, why is it that oil consuming nations strive for peace around the world, while oil producers lean more toward a lack of stability?

You give? Well let me help you out. The answer is simple. War and a lack of stability around the world translates into higher oil prices. Therefore, it behooves the oil producers to keep the world in chaos, and that is exactly what they do.
