Do you agree with this?
How about Russian Dating scams? I think that is at the same level, if not bigger than so called Nigerian scams.
The truth though is "Nigerian Scams" don't originate only from Nigeria. Cote D'Voire, Senegal, etc also engage in 419 a lot.
