I've never understood the issue of doctor shortages in Nigeria.

Isn't it a matter of demand and supply. Higher demand should correspondingly lead to a higher supply.

If a country needs more medical doctors, you build more medical schools and train more doctors. Can anybody explain why that is a problem?

I know there would be an initial shortage of teachers when new schools are built, but that too can be rectified the same way as doctor shortage.

Can anybody explain why Nigeria has a shortage of doctors?

Was it a difficult move? Was it complicated to find a job in Somalia? To find an accommodation in Somalia?
