China and Nigeria agree oil deal - Bad Deal...

Why am I not surprised! Same ole Nigeria. Unless a white skin is involved in our affairs, it's considered inferior.

As intelligent and gifted as Nigerians are, why do we need China to run our affairs?

What is wrong with building up Nigerian engineers who would do the oil drilling for their own country?

Obasanjo said in his discussion with China's president, that he's grateful China has offered to assist Nigeria with drugs for the treatment of malaria, but that he wants China to teach us how to make the drugs. This is a president talking!

Mr president, you don't tell the president of another country to teach you how to make drugs. Instead, you fund your dilapidated research institutions, then you grant scholarships to gifted science students, of which we have an abundance, to go abroad and study biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmacy, pharmaceutical research, drug manufacturing, etc. By the time these people return home, they'd be ready to make any drugs you want from local raw materials.

Nigeria needs a leader that'd show a high degree of intelligence, rather than drag the whole nation in the mud before another country.

There are millions of highly intelligent Nigerians at home and abroad today. Tap into that invaluable resource Mr president.
