One of the most persecuted group of people has been the Jews. One of the most persecuted nations in the world has been Israel. Since 1948 when Israel was reconstituted, Israel has been hated, been under constant threat, and attacked by enemies all around.
Before that, Hitler, the Nazis, and many extreme German Nationalists accused Jews of being communists. This fueled strong anti-semitic believes at the time.
Hitler disliked the Jews so much, that by conservative estimates went on to kill over six million Jews in the Holocaust.
But this is nothing compared to what Israel is going to face from its enemies in future.
America is hated just as much by many nations around the world. This is a direct result of America's resolve to be on Israel's side through thick and thin. Sort of a "the friend of my enemy is my enemy too" mantra.
So, what could be worse for Israel than losing six million of its citizens? Well, it has been prophesied that Iran, Libya, Sudan, and many other powerful Islamic nations will align themselves with Russia, and form a strong coalition force to launch a devastating attack on tiny Israel.
True to form, we see today that Iran is working feverishly to build nuclear weapons. Iran claims it's for generating electricity, but then the amount of Uranium it is enriching is many orders of magnitude more than what is required to generate electricity.
Furthermore, Ahmadinajad has said on many occasions that his sole aim is to wipe Israel off the map. We also see Russia's Putin defying the west and joining hands with Iran on nuclear projects. Russia has blocked tougher UN sanctions against Iran in the UN Security Council, where it has veto power.
How about the fact that Russia has written off Libya’s old Soviet debt estimated at $4.5 billion? Russia has contracts with Muammar Qaddaf on building the Sirt-Benghazi railway. Additionally, Libya has plans for purchasing Russian armaments such as the S-300PMU and Tor-M1 surface-to-air missiles.
Taking these facts into account, it may not be too far fetched to give credence to the prophecy that Israel is going to be attacked by Russia and Iran, and a coalition of other nations.
But why would all these nations want to destroy Israel?
One reason is that Israel is surrounded by huge oil deposits. Russia and Iran are banana republics that rely solely on oil wealth for their survival.
Another reason is that Israel is a very wealthy nation. In the Middle East, Israel accounts for a mere 2% of the population, yet the tiny country is home to the world’s most innovative technological advancements.
By conquering Israel, all of Israel's wealth becomes available to these nations.
This is a disturbing trend. How is it that in the 21st century, there are still nations like Russia that espouse the elimination of another nation? Especially after Russia's humiliating defeat in Afghanistan.
Are we in danger of World War III if Israel is attacked? The answer is yes, it's very likely.
If Israel is attacked, the USA certainly wouldn't sit on the sidelines, particularly since Russia has, unwittingly or by design, now made itself an enemy of the United States. It's very likely the US would defend Israel with overwhelming force. US is already building up warships in the Black sea. We are also aware of the Russo-American. Anti-Missiles' Controversy about Missiles system in the Czech Republic and Poland.
What about Saudi Arabia, what role is it likely to play in the event that Israel is attacked? Well, one could say that since Saudi Arabia and Iran hate each other, Saudis may be more inclined to throw their support toward Israel. The last thing Saudi Arabia wants is a dominant Iran in the middle East.
If allowed to gain strength, Iran would ultimately attack Saudi Arabia for its oil wealth, since Iran's oil has been estimated to run out in 13 years.
Another reason why Saudi Arabia may fight alongside Israel is that Saudis are Sunnis, while Iranians are Shiites. Those two Islamic factions don't see eye to eye.
How could a war against Israel affect Nigeria? Well, anything that results in a world war, is sure to plunge the world economy into chaos. A slow global economy means lower oil consumption, and therefore lower oil prices. What would Nigeria do without oil revenues?
There is a silver lining in all of the doom and gloom, however. And that is that Israel would win if attacked by the aforementioned nations.
