Certifying Organizations

Read about the organizations offering the certifications. A certification from an organization that sponsors meetings, puts out publications and participates in research has more prestige than one that just gives certifications. See if the organization offers specialized certifications as well as certifications for general personal training. Also, check to see if the program is accredited by any reputable organizations.
