i'm tryin to learn pidgin english...i have look at babawilly & other web sites...but I want to understand the foundation of it...if you u can help let me know...

The best way to learn pidgin is to chat with Nigerian friends.

Pidgin is not standard. The Igbo speak pidgin quite differently from Yoruba, while Hausa have their own words and intonation.

never been there...but i have a few friends from Lagos...they have taught me what i know like the Yoruba word in my name...what hard for me...pronunciation...different people use the same word differently...how sentences are put together...when i read it i can sabi wetin dem talkin about...no sabi when dem speakin pidgin...if i sabi mo Yoruba will it help me?
