Nollywood actor Nureni Aremu died

35-year-old Nollywoord actor, producer, Nureni Aremu died June 11, 2010.

"He was inside his car with two of his colleagues. He was on his way to deliver the script of his latest work to a senior colleague. What we heard was that the car rammed into a pot-hole and it somersaulted. To worsen matters, an oncoming truck hit it. That was how the story changed for Larry," a neighbour told this reporter in tears.

Top Yoruba actor, Alhaji Yekini Ajileye, died 10/11/2006.

The Osogbo-based actor of Koto Aye and Ide fame died at his residence after a protracted illness that lasted for three months.

He was buried according to Islamic injunctions. One of his wives, Alhaja Mujidat Ajileye a.k.a. Mama Mi L’eko, also died barely two years prior.

Some of the popular films he produced during his life time, include Koto Aye, Eran Iya Osogbo, Ibrahim, Omo Orukan, Aye Alaye, and Ide among others. Until his death, the late Ajileye was a very close friend of Yem-Kem boss, Prince (Dr.) Akintunde Ayeni.

Ayinde Barrister, the Fuji creator, originator, pioneer, lord, prophet, moderniser, ambassador, commander and exponent died December 16, 2010 in a London hospital.

He died after a protracted battle with diabetes and hypertension.

When he was alive little did anybody know about his private life, but sources say that the singer left behind 16 wives and at least 62 children.
