We have a traditional saying that can be interpreted this way 'It is what you come and meet people doing in a town that you will also do' so as long as you are living here in Nigeria, there is every chance that one day you will surely find yourself speaking broken english no matter where you came from. It is not only here in Nigeria, all countries have their local languages though most derive theirs from English.
